These sturdy bowls are made from the waste fibre from pressing sugar cane, are fully compostable and suitable for all uses including hot, wet and oily foods.
Normally the sugar cane fibres are burned as fuel but this process is very polluting and the power yield is relatively low, so a new use has been found for this waste material - lovely compostable party plates!
The plates are made by pressing the fibres at a very high heat, under great pressure so the result is a sturdy, rigid bowl - perfect for your eco-friendly party!
