Our disposable Palm Leaf Tableware (plates, bowls and platters) is made from naturally shed leaves and contain no coatings or additives.
The naturally shed leaf sheath is a strong, heat and water resistant material and has its own unique natural grains texture, very much similar to that of furniture grade wood.
Suitable for all types of food including hot, wet and oily foods such as curries and stews.
Suitable for use in the freezer or microwave.
Since they are completely natural, there is no risk of any chemicals or flavours leaching into the food.
Disposal at the end of the product life is extremely simple: they can be disposed of with food waste or rinsed and composted.
Soup bowl is oval shaped and is photographed with the 10" Egg plate which can be purchased separately.
All our palm leaf tableware has sides which are angled outward so the outside and base dimensions are:

Yes — every product across our Tableware, Platters & Trays, and Cutlery & Serviettes collections is completely plastic-free. Our palm leaf plates and bowls, pinewood food boats, birch and bamboo cutlery, compostable cups, and paper napkins are all made from natural, sustainably sourced materials with no chemicals or coatings.
2. Are these products suitable for hot food and drinks?
Absolutely. Our palm leaf plates and bowls are heat resistant and safe for direct food contact. Our hot cups — available in 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz — are designed to handle hot beverages, and our birch and bamboo cutlery is sturdy enough for a wide range of hot and cold foods.
3. Can I use these for large events like weddings or festivals?
Yes — our entire range is built with events in mind. Products are available in bulk packs (100s, 250s, even cases of 1000), making them ideal for weddings, cafés, pop-up events, festivals, and catered gatherings. From serving platters and food boats to skewers, napkins, and compostable cups, everything you need is in one place.
4. What materials are used across the collections?
Our tableware is crafted from naturally fallen palm leaves. Platters and food boats use responsibly sourced pinewood. Cutlery is available in birch wood, organic bamboo, and PLA corn starch. Cups are made from recycled kraft or compostable materials, and napkins are 2-ply recycled paper — all free from bleaching and harmful chemicals.
5. Are the products compostable after use?
Yes — all products across the three collections are fully compostable and biodegradable. Once used, they break down naturally and return to the earth, leaving zero harmful residue — making them a truly guilt-free choice for both everyday dining and large-scale events.
