Biodegradable Balloons & Ribbon

Balloons are fantastic, impactful party decorations; and luckily we have a fabulous range of biodegradable latex balloons, paper raffia ribbon and colourful paper decorations.

Our biodegradable balloons are made from high quality natural latex; an organic material which breaks down although this can take many months. They are also manufactured in the UK (unless stated otherwise in the product description) 

Balloons are hazards when they enter the environment. We do not support or condone the practice of balloon releases, even with biodegradable balloons. All released balloons, whether they are released intentionally or not, return to Earth as litter – including those made from biodegradable latex. Balloons which are released kill countless animals and cause dangerous power outages. They can travel thousands of miles and pollute the most remote and pristine places. Spent balloons should be disposed of in a responsible manner. We recommend cutting them into small pieces and disposing of them in your general waste where they will break down safely.

Rubber balloons will not hold helium for more than 6-8 hours so they should be inflated just before use if you are using helium with them. 

Our range of raffia ribbon is made from uncoated paper and is not suitable for curling.
