These sturdy plates are made from the waste fibre from pressing sugar cane, are fully compostable and suitable for all uses including hot, wet and oily foods.
Normally the sugar cane fibres are burned as fuel but this process is very polluting and the power yield is relatively low, so a new use has been found for this waste material - lovely compostable party plates!
