These sturdy plates are fully compostable and suitable for all uses including hot, wet and oily foods.

They are made from dry fibrous wheat/straw residue and are completely unbleached which gives them a lovely natural pale caramel colour.

The plates are made by pressing the fibres at a very high heat, under great pressure so the result is a sturdy, rigid side plate - perfect for your eco-friendly party!

Plates measure 7" in diameter.

The wheat straw that we use comes from the stalks of wheat plants. The stalks of wheat plants do not store protein, gluten, or allergens. Those are stored in the grains, and our products do not contain gluten or allergens.

A straight swap for paper plates but more sturdy than the cheap paper plates widely available, you could have two servings of wet/oily food on them without worrying etc. The colour is nice and not too brown. Suitable for whatever food you wish to serve and no taste etc. Highly recommend.
