Our disposable Palm Leaf Tableware (plates, bowls and platters) is made from naturally shed leaves and contain no coatings or additives. 
The naturally shed leaf sheath is a strong, heat and water resistant material and has its own unique natural grains texture, very much similar to that of furniture grade wood. 
Suitable for all types of food including hot, wet and oily foods such as curries and stews.
Suitable for use in the freezer or microwave. 
Since they are completely natural, there is no risk of any chemicals or flavours leaching into the food.
Disposal at the end of the product life is extremely simple: they can be disposed of with food waste or rinsed and composted. 

This "Egg" shaped plate has a gently curving lip and is perfect for dainty desserts and appetisers. It is not for big helpings of puddings!

All our palm leaf tableware has sides which are angled outward so the outside and base dimensions are:

Outer: 6.5" long x 5" wide x 0.75" deep

Base: 4.5" long x 3" wide

We bought these plates, the serving platters and wooden knife and forks for our wedding as we had a hog roast and buffet and we were very happy with them! They look lovely, they where strong and did not flex like paper plates! We had no end of complements about them by our guests and went perfectly with our vintage theme! Even the delivery was prompt! Thank you!
