These great plates are made from Arecca palm leaves which have naturally fallen to the ground. They are collected and soaked in locally sourced spring water before being pressed into shape by local people who are able to make a living in areas where previously they may have been underprivileged.

They are completely natural and free from chemicals or any other nasty stuff, so are compostable yet durable and robust enough to be used in the microwave or oven.
