These balloons are made from latex, which is a natural and biodegradable substance found in rubber trees.

These balloons are FSC certified, which means that they come from forests that are "managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations". (That actually means that no trees are harmed in the making of these balloons as the tapping process to get the latex doesn't damage them).

They are fairly traded, and biodegrade in approximately six months, which is the same as an oak leaf!
